Linguistics and Grammar Teaching

VESNA STOJANOVIK

Vesna Stojanovik is a professor of clinical linguistics at the University of Reading and currently the head of Clinical Language Sciences at the University of Reading.  She has been teaching speech and language therapy undergraduate and postgraduate students for over 25 years. Her research has explored speech, language and communication development in children with different neurodevelopmental conditions, including Williams syndrome, Developmental Language Disorders, Autism, with being her focal point of interest over the past 10 years. Vesna has been co-editor in chief of Clinical Linguistics and Phonetics since 2021 and has previously chaired the British Association for Clinical Linguistics (2008-2019) as well being the vice-president of the International Clinical Phonetics and Linguistics Association (2019-2023).
