Linguistics and Grammar Teaching

MARINA MATTHEOUDAKIS

Marina Mattheoudakis is Professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, School of English (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Director of the Lab on Foreign Language Teaching and Assessment. Between 2017 and 2020, she worked in Delaware, U.S. where she designed and implemented an innovative bilingual program in English and Greek for which she was nominated for the Innovation Awards by the Delaware Department of Education. In 2019 she was awarded a scholarship by the Harvard Graduate School of Education to attend the Data Wise Leadership Institute at Harvard University. Her research interests focus on second language acquisition, bilingualism and bilingual education, language teaching methodology, and Corpus Linguistics. She has published extensively in leading international journals, edited volumes, and conference proceedings.
