EVANGELIA KYRITSI

Evangelia Kyritsi is a clinical linguist at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a graduate of the Department of English Language and Literature (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and holds an MA in Linguistic Research (School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, University of Reading). She completed her doctoral dissertation at the School of Psychology & Clinical Language Sciences of the same university, which was funded by the University of Reading and the Economic and Social Research Council. She has received a scholarship from the A. G. Leventis Foundation to conduct postdoctoral research on speechreading in deaf individuals (Department of English Language and Literature, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), and she has worked for more than ten years in special education. Her research interests are reflected in the textbook Topics in Clinical Linguistics and Educational Implications, published by Kallipos Open Academic Editions.
