Angeliki Tsokoglou is Professor of Linguistics with a specialization in “Linguistics: Theory of Grammar” in the Department of German Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Since 2006, she has been teaching in the Department’s postgraduate program (MA), and she has also taught (2002–2018) in the interdepartmental MA program “Teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign Language” at NKUA, as well as in the Hellenic Open University (HOU) MA program “Specialization of German Language Teachers” (2000–2015). Since 2020, she has been teaching in the HOU MA programme “Contemporary Trends in Linguistics for Educators.” She is the Director of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of the School of Philosophy “Linguistics and the Teaching of Grammar.” Her research interests focus on the following areas: Theoretical Linguistics, Comparative Linguistics, Syntax, Information Structure, and the theory and teaching of Grammar (in both first and foreign language contexts).
