RESEARCH COLLABORATION

2019

January, Barcelona: Michalis Georgiafentis met Professor Manuel Leonetti, Complutense University of Madrid, and discussed a potential research collaboration mainly on Grammar Teaching within the framework of current linguistic theories (e.g. Generative Grammar).

January, Barcelona: Michalis Georgiafentis and Angeliki Tsokoglou had research meetings with members of the following groups: ‘Grup d’Investigació sobre Ensenyament i Aprenentatge de Llengües’ (GREAL) , ‘Grup d’Investigació en Ensenyament de Llengües’ (GIEL). 

 

2023

January, Valencia: meeting of Angeliki Tsokoglou with Professor Carmen Rodríguez Gonzalo, Director of the GIEL Group, to explore collaboration in the field of grammar teaching.

January, Valencia: meeting of Michalis Georgiafentis and Angeliki Tsokoglou with Dr. Xavier Fontich, Vice-Chair of the International Association for Research in L1 Education.

May, Göttingen: meeting of Michalis Georgiafentis and Angeliki Tsokoglou with Professor Stavros Skopeteas, Institute of Linguistics, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where they explored academic collaboration in the field of linguistics, grammar description and teaching.

June, Madrid: meeting between Michalis Georgiafentis and Victoria Escandell-Vidal, Professor at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, to explore the possibility of collaboration between the two universities, both on research and teaching basis, in the field of comparative linguistics.

December, Thessaloniki: working meeting between Angeliki Tsokoglou and Dimitrios Michelioudakis, Assistant Professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with the aim of scientific cooperation on issues of grammatical description and language teaching.

 

2019 – today: The research programme and subsequently the Interdisciplinary Laboratory cooperates with the Research Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens "Multilingualism and Language Policy".

 

2021 – today: Michalis Georgiafentis and Angeliki Tsokoglou are members of the International Association for Research in L1 Education (ARLE), Special Interest Group (SIG): Educational Linguistics (EduLing).
